Many people have experienced fairly bad acne problem in their teenage time, and thought that it would never come to an end, however, surely, all the acne are gone after fifteen years later. Unfortunately, the discoloration and scars from the past are still on their skin continue to bother their appearance. Many of us have tried every type of smoothing products or scar removal product and procedure to get rid of scars.

Unlike a surgical facelift, laser skin resurfacing works by removing the outer layer of the skin, including dead skin cell and thicken cells to improve facial appearance by targeting the more superficial layers of the skin. The laser light restructures the collagen, and tightening of the skin, improves skin surface irregularities and smoothening out of fine wrinkle is the overall effect of this procedure. However, you need to understand that everyone is different, severity, skin type, texture and skin color, hence choosing the best laser skin resurfacing can make a difference.

If you have severe acne scars, deep static wrinkles or deep hyperpigmentation, you will probably need deep skin resurfacing. This treatment may involve infiltration of local anesthetic (numbing medicine) or intravenous sedation anesthesia into the treatment areas for patient comfort. It generally takes seven to ten days for recovery time after deep laser peel procedure. After the procedure done, you are commonly discharged home the same day, and are recommended compress your skin as well as applying moisturizing ointment. This treatment is generally less painful that deep chemical peel.

As the outer layers of the skin replaced by new skin, the patient experiences redness and crusting over the first week. Your skin appears fairly pink and sensitive for several weeks after the laser skin procedure.
